For several years now, Decathlon has been facing a steady increase in the volume of HR documents requiring management. To remain productive, the company had to find a solution for digitising and automating its HR documents.

Decathlon issues thousands of payslips, stakeholder statements and mandatory profit-sharing statements annually. HR managers waste enormous time and money on printing, sorting and sending documents. The administrative management of HR documents needed to be simplified To reduce costs and ensure the efficient monitoring of distributions.

As an innovative company, Decathlon sought an efficient and user-friendly solution to facilitate the sharing and flow of information between different levels of the organisation. In doing so, it wanted to develop a collaborative spirit. Having a single provider to manage the entire chain was a priority. Decathlon implemented the UKG solution for digitising, distributing and archiving HR documents and providing innovative services to its employees. Having a single provider to manage the whole chain was vital in this choice.

 The first stage was to offer employees digitised payslips before extending this paperless approach to all remuneration-related documents. Thanks to the electronic Employee Vault, staff receive and store their HR documents on a secure and easily accessible platform. Everything is centralised, and considerable time savings can be made in searching for information.

The digitisation of HR documents has enabled Decathlon to reduce its consumption of paper and ink, an eco-friendly choice corresponding to its commitment to sustainable development. An enormous historical catch-up has been achieved in record time: more than 25 years of archives have been integrated into the platform- more than a million documents. Moreover, thanks to UKG, the HR department has reduced its document distribution and archiving costs by 43%.

By centralising all remuneration-related documents on the secure UKG platform, Decathlon avoids the need to circulate and handle sensitive documents. All communication takes place via efficient request management tools and electronic mail.
