There’s a lot of conversation around Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), and many companies are mobilising to enforce these values or institute them if they didn’t exist before. DEIB are critical to driving innovation and growth, as well as long-term success.

As companies continue to leverage digital transformation to gain a competitive advantage and market share, diverse voices are necessary for continued innovation. With diversity comes smarter and more creative ideas, better performance, and the added potential to appeal to a broader market. But diversity cannot be sustained without equity, inclusion, and belonging — they all work together creating a culture where every single person can thrive at work.

Reaves, UKG’s Chief Belonging, Diversity and Equity officer, discuss the business imperative around DEIB and the role each of us plays in creating an environment that sets a company and its customers up for future success.
