With the Miss America crown on the line, everyone seems desperate to gain the competitive edge on their rivals... and for one guest that means murder! At a pageant that is known to be plagued with scandal, why should this year be any different?

An Evening Filled With Backstabbing, Blackmail & Bribery Among Beauties

After a week of competing in the nation’s most prestigious beauty pageant, the contestants, judges and coaches are invited to a pre-pageant party the night before the final round of competition.

With the crown on the line, everyone seems desperate to gain the competitive edge on their rivals... and for one guest that means murder!

Will it be the whiny Miss Wisconsin who is obsessed with winning? The ambitious Miss Alabama whose acting career is at stake? The tawdry Miss Texas who uses her sexuality to get ahead? Or possibly the reigning queen who does not want to give up her crown.

With a pageant that has been plagued with scandal from its beginning, there is no reason this year should be any different.

Killing for the Crown lasts for about four hours and is suited to an evening. It is often played over a meal -- a finger buffet if possible to allow guests to circulate and talk in private.

The free introductory pdf file contains a list of all the guests, an invitation to send to your guests, an example character -- plus details of how to buy the game.

Killing for the Crown is also available in a "clean" version suitable for more conservative groups, and in a "teen" version (which is also clean) set at Miss Teen America. The teen version has its own free introductory pdf file.

Buying Killing for the Crown

Killing for the Crown comes in two different versions, depending on how many players you have: 10-15 female plus 0-5 male players costs $42.50 USD, 15-20 female plus 0-5 male costs $47.50 USD. That works out at about 22 / 24 GB pounds or 29 /32 Euro, depending on the exchange rate charged by your credit card. (You can use the XE.com Personal Currency Assistant to check the amount.)

Step 2: Read the intro and see what you think of the game!

Step 3: Go back to the Night of Mystery online shop and buy the game on their secure site. After you've entered your credit card details, you'll be emailed the location of the main pdf files, plus the password required to unlock them. You can then download those files and enjoy the game!
